Michael O’Malley

Founding member

As a founding member of RMB Westport, Michael O’Malley began the journey in 2008 with Dale Ramsden and Simon Fifield, when they formed Westport Property Holdings. This property development management company was geared for retail and mixed-use projects in African countries, specifically Nigeria.

Michael’s vast experience in Africa began years ago with him serving a 20-year stint working on retail and mixed-use projects in 12 different African countries. He served as Managing Director of Stauch Vorster Architects — one of the largest architectural firms in Africa — before co-founding and serving as Managing Director of Profund Properties. This Nigerian-based property development and facilities management company was operational in the residential, retail, office and hotel sectors of this bustling African city.

This role then brought him up to co-founding Westport Property Holdings.
