Roelou Slabbert

Roelou Slabbert has been involved in property development in South Africa and Africa since 1998. Roelou was a Legal Adviser for 13 years, and later became a Business Development Executive for Shoprite Checkers Properties Ltd. This allowed him to be a dealmaker on a number of real estate developments in more than 12 African countries.

Roelou’s years of experience in African real estate features several prominent milestones such as being an instrumental figure in the development of Belas Shopping (the first shopping centre in Angola). Roelou was the co-author of the Master Agreement for the co-development of the Belas Shopping Centre and went on to found Roelou Slabbert Properties (Pty) Ltd in 2005. In 1998, Roelou was admitted to the High Court of South Africa as attorney and notary public.
